Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CoffeeChat OS (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

CoffeeChat OS is a workspace for job seekers to track networking and contacts, practise case and behavioral interviews, and receive job alerts. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your account

  • You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
  • Accounts are for individual use. Do not share your account or let others use it as their own.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for anything unlawful or harmful.
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
  • Resell or commercially exploit the service without our permission.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that is confidential to someone else.

Your content

You own the content you add to your workspace. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to operate the service for you. You are responsible for your content and for having the right to store it.

Subscriptions and billing

  • The service has a free plan and a paid premium plan. Students with a verified .edu email get full access for free.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial periods.
  • We may change prices with reasonable notice; changes apply to future billing periods.

Third-party services

The service relies on third parties such as Google, LinkedIn, Stripe, Brevo, Telegram, and an AI provider. Your use of features that depend on them is also subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for their services.

Intellectual property

The service, including its software, design, and brand, belongs to CoffeeChat OS. These terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any particular job-search outcome, interview result, or availability of job data, which comes from third-party sources and may be incomplete.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CoffeeChat OS is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the service or other users.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
